Water resistant film of the film faced plywood ?Non-water-resistant ?

As in the film faced plywood industry,most of the importers requested to use water resistant film for their film faced plywood ,but actually some of the plywood manufacturers using NON-WATER-RESISTANT film for the film faced plywood ,the price difference is just about 1rmb/set ,but the quality are much difference.

To europe and middle ,Australia ,North and South americ and africa ,asia ,the quality are much difference.

Many my customers they asked if we could do the supply the same quality film faced plywood like Koinplex ,I told them we could do the same film quality and same surface and inside veneer core quality ,but can not compete with the inside core construction as they used different veneer core constrution and wood speices .

More and more good factories in China already tried to do the same quality ,one of the big problems they are facing is the foreign buyers they don’t pay the same prices like Korinplex ,really much lower prices than Korinplex,so ,some of the factories refused to make the same quality plywood .

 

THE THICKNESS OF THE FILM WILL HIDE THE WOOD GRAIN OR INSIDE CORE VENEER QUALITY ….

We found the quality problems of the film ,the production manger of the film factory came to our factory and approved the quality problems of their film .

And explained and promised that they would increase the thickness of the film for us to make a better film for us .

So ,the thickness of the film is important for chinese film faced plywood,that is also many foreign importers they requested their film should be thick one but not thin one .

Burn marks of the film ?film faced plywood,not jus check your plywood platform ,but also the film quality

We found some burn marks from our ffp ,we studied that maybe our platform probelms ,may be sanding or not good core ,we tried to use different platforms to check why so many burn marks .

Finally ,found that our platform have no probelms ,happened to see one edges of the film has some color variation like burn marks,thn we checked more of the film ,like these pictures,found that the film has quality prboelms e,ven our platform has no probelms,the film would be burn after hot pressing ,even without touching the platform …

so ,when your qc inspect the plwood,also check the film quality first especailly after hot pressing ,how is the film quality …

study the quality problems and found the real reason .

see the edges of the film with burn mrks not laminating to the vc platform yet already have burn marks after hot temperature .

select one good film supplier is important ,found the probelms and then ask them to correct to minimize the loss that is the key to work together .

SAWDUST AFFECTED THE SURFACE QUALITY PROBLEMS OF THE FFP,SAW THE LUMP AND KNOTS

When you inspect the ffp ,please take care of these quality problems and easy to avoid when laminate the film to the platform ,should remove these sawdust to make sure the surface i very clean of the platform after smoothly sanding the veneer core platform  .

MR glue with color pigment with poplar flour to paint the edges of the ffp

This is not good ,but many facotries use this way to reduce costs ,normally THE WBP glue with poplar flour paint is higher 0.5RMB/PCS than MR .

When you inspect plywood,please be careful about this problems ,we found these probelms from many factories when we visited them .They are not water-resistant and easy to remove and the NON-WATER-RESISTANT Putty are easy to fall off .

Many factories using MR glue mixed wih color pigment to replace WBP ,taht is really very bad as the MR can not be water-resistant ,if any rain or water comes ,the edges will be delaminated if MR for the plywood core .

On one side, the plywood panels are equipped with non-skid wiremesh finish. The reverse side comes with a smooth phenolic resin coating. Thicknesses of 9 mm – 30 mm and dimensions of 1.25 x 2.50 m as well as 1.50 x 3.0 m are available both with BFU 100 bonding as well as with wbp-bonding.

Recently ,received more and more  Plastic PP Film faced plywood inquries ?

Found that in Diaodian ,also one plywood mill started to manufacture this type of plywood.

UPGRADE PP FILM FACED PLYWOOD,GLOSSY PLASTIC COATED PLYWOOD FOR CONCRETE FORMWORK

It’s upgrade of normal film faced plywood. It’s coated with PP plastic by imported PUR adhesive, which have a better strength and resistance to water,abrasion, heat, and chemical. I found this from one linyi factory ,very good quality .THEY exported this production mostly to North America and Europe markets and Middle East and Some africa markets  as this is high end products .Visited them today ,another factory located in weifang,Shandong province.

One of the customers showed us their samples to make the sample quality,I think for the wood species of the core construction is very difficult for us to follow ,but the quality we can reach .

WHY IN LINYI AREA,VERY FEW PLYWOOD MILL PRODUCING TWO-STEP PROCESS FILM FACED PLYWOOD ?

Visited so many plywood mills in linyi ,found that most of them only doing the one-step core platform ffp ,some of them even have sanding machinery but still doing NON-SANDED platform for making ffp .

The quality are very low ,especially the surface are not smooth .

Of course,the prices are very competitive .

Xzhou like Diaodian ,Pizhou area ,still most of them doing two-step process production ffp .The veneer platform are smoothly sanded and then put the film .

one of the dongbei Liaoning factory are doing the good film faced plywood ,My foreign friends visited them many times .Said the quality are good .

1220x2440x18mm ,WBP Phenolic Exterior Glue,Combi Core ,Single THickness tesing 17.5mm ,Before the edges painting,the veneer core are filled with WBP glue with poplar saw flour ,Edges are sealed with Water-resistant Paint .

VENEER Core platform are smoothly sanded both sides before laminating the film .

Thin MDF packing ,with colorful printed shipping marks ,Container Shipping .

 

FILM FACED WATERPROOF PLYWOOD

It is waterproof hardwood and poplar plywood overlaid with a waterproof phenol film on both the sides. A phenol film is  KRAFT paper impregnated with phenol resins.

Film colour:
Usually the colour is chestnut dark brown. Other standard colours are light brown transparent, yellow, yellow transparent, red, green, black, grey. Transparent film is applied on BB grade veneer surface.
Formaldehyde emission :Phenol film weights by its colours:

Plywood application:
Construction works, production and repair of transport and trailers, shipbuilding industry, installation of ramps for roller-skates and skateboards.

Application of filmfaced plywood is considerably promoting the concrete form producing. Panels covered by phenolic film and are dustproof and easily cleaned. They are resistant to corrosive action, scratches, abrasion, wear and chemicals. The minimal further processing of concrete surface and the possibility of nonexpendable usage make the plywood application to be rather profitable. The light-weight of shuttering plywood forms facilitate the installation work as well, that allows to cut down transport expanses and to increase the bearing formwork capacity. The applying of imprinted surface improves rubbing without sliding, that`s why the imprinted plywood is irreplaceable for scaffolding flooring, formwork and other installation works.

When you produce the film faced plywood,the suppliers should know where the plywood will be used for and then they can understand better and completely the real quality of the plywood are suitable for the end uses.

This type of filmfaced plywood with wiremesh pattern is the most suitable and cost efficient solution for scaffolding and work platforms, with the highest advantageous weight to strength ratio, meeting improved technical and economical requirements.
