What is a Pre Production Inspection?
The “PPI” is completed right before the beginning of the actual mass production and after the identification/evaluation of your vendor or factory to confirm that your vendor understood your order’s requirements and specifications and is well prepared for production. It can be completed at the factory or vendor office.
What do we check during a Pre Production Inspection?
We start by establishing the relationship between the factory and the vendor (key persons who speak English etc) to convey your demands – samples, costs, production schedule and processes, in-house quality control checks, raw materials and all other key components of your order.
The added value of the Pre Production Inspection?
To get a clear idea of the production schedule and predict any possible problems that could affect the quality of your goods, the PPI will set up a preliminary production test to match the golden sample. Often language differences are the main reason for poor quality production – misunderstandings can be avoided completely with a PPI.
