Proposal for Legal Inspection of Plywood Products, through controlled factory production and inspection procedures, workmanship, inspection, grade marking and certification, method of ordering,

In this plywood field, we heard too many stories about claim or complaint on Chinese plywood in some factories. Many customers are cheated and can’t get compensation. They have to change from one to another supplier. Soon, the bad reputation of Chinese plywood suppliers turned up. As a highly educated team, one side, we feel very shamed, the other side, we feel unfair to us due to innocence. Then we build our mission to become a responsible and reputable Chinese supplier of wood panels and win the trust for Chinese and Chinese products back from all the worldwide buyers. Meanwhile, we build a good team including 18 inspectors and a good system of inspection. Do strict inspection on every procedure of production in factories and do double inspection in our port warehouse to reject unqualified panels before shipment. Preventing a claim before shipment is one of our policies.

A saying says “The customer is God”, while everything is mutual, suppliers are also very important. So, we also regard our suppliers as God. Beside skills’ training & technical service for them, we also share the market information domestic or overseas with them and instill them the management conception. We help them to improve their quality, service and management.

Quality Control

Apart from real wood veneered plywood and blockboard and other types of wood panels , every individual piece of commercial plywood is carefully inspected “Piece by piece” prior to shipment and any plywood which does not pass our stringent quality control is rejected. Our quality control process commences at the start of production when the veneers are checked to ensure they are the correct quality and moisture content and finishes when the plywood is produced, inspected and ready for packing. Our inspection process includes a physical inspection of every panel to check for:
Flatness
Colour variation
Press marks
Splits
Core gaps / overlaps
Size tolerance
Thickness tolerance
Moisture content
……A lot of other key points will be inspected and checkedDuring our inspection a number of photographs are taken which are then submitted to the buyer together with a copy of our Inspection Report.Inspections are also ‘Tailored’ to meet the individual requirements of different products. For example, the characteristics and quality of door skin plywood are different to those for commercial plywood and our inspectors are fully aware of the differences and will undertake their inspection accordingly. It should be noted that whilst a number of Chinese plywood manufacturers / exporters websites refer to their quality control and inspection processes, from experience we know that the number of inspectors they have are usually exaggerated and they do not usually undertake the inspection of every individual piece of plywood.

Checking the moisture content of the plywood
Checking the thickness of the plywood
Visual inspection of face and back

Checking the width and length of the plywood
Checking the diagonal dimensions of the plywood (for squareness)
Checking for any twisting or distortion

Other construction materials with formaldehyde include soft plywood, flake board, and oriented strand board. All of these products off-gas for a period of time.
