Canadian Federal Government Enhances Efforts to Develop Asia-Pacific Timber Market

The Natural Resources Department of the Federal Government of Canada has announced an exciting news that huge amounts of money will be invested to support Canadian timber exhibition projects in overseas markets.

These exhibition projects will use the Canadian Wood Industry Association as an executive unit to find suitable partners to demonstrate Canada’s advanced green wood construction technology and its application in mixed wood structure, building assembly, residential, public and commercial buildings for the Asia-Pacific market, including China, Japan and Korea.

The Canadian Wood Industry Association jointly contributes to the promotion and development of Canadian forest products in overseas markets by the Natural Resources Department of the Federal Government of Canada. The Canadian Wood Industry Association represents the voice of the Canadian forest industry as a whole, including forest associations and enterprises from the three Canadian marine provinces, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
