Comparison of Indonesian plywood and Chinese plywood
I went to the plywood factories in Indonesia several times and felt that the material was very good, but the material was different from that in China. The material of Indonesia was very light, such as falcata, rubber wood and so on. The process used for plywood production is different from that in China. The number of plywood layers is different, much less than that in China, for example, only 5 to 7 layers of 18MM.
Indonesia’s material is soft, and its light softwood wood plywood has weak screw holding strength, unlike Vietnam’s hardwood wood and China’s poplar.
Some Indonesian plywood factories, in order to meet the requirements of American customers, mix some hardwood wood into the plywood to enhance the nail screw holding force of plywood.
