1991-2000: Golden Decade of Wood-based Panel Industry Development
In the 1990s, the rapid rise of private economy and the entry of overseas capital have pushed China’s wood-based panel industry into a period of rapid development. With the establishment of socialist market economy system proposed by the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has established “public ownership as the main body and multi-ownership economy as the basic economic system of the country”. The rapid rise of China’s private economy, the influx of overseas capital, and the rapid development of private wood-based panel enterprises at an alarming speed have promoted the rapid development of China’s wood-based panel industry. Extension. The status of private enterprises has been established, which has played an important role in making up for the shortage of state-owned enterprises, enriching market products and improving market vitality. Private wood-based panel enterprises have also developed rapidly at an alarming rate.
In the mid-1990s, the domestic market demand for medium-fiberboard increased greatly. Domestic wood-based panel equipment enterprises began to develop medium-fiberboard production line. After many years of technological improvement and development, domestic medium-fiberboard complete sets of equipment have basically met the needs of the domestic market, and completely changed the situation that imported complete sets of equipment of wood-based panels are unified in the world. In 2000, China’s wood-based panel production exceeded 20 million cubic meters, reaching 8.2 times that of 10 years ago, which was the golden decade for the development of wood-based panel industry.
