What is high density fiberboard?
High density fiberboard (HDF) is a kind of density board made from wood fibers or other plant fibers by applying urea formaldehyde resin or other synthetic resins under heating and pressure.
I. Properties of High Density Fiberboard Products
The density of high density fiberboard is usually over 800kg/m. The surface texture is fine and smooth. When the environment temperature and humidity change, the dimension stability is good and the surface decoration treatment is easy. The internal structure is compact and has dense edges, which can be processed into special-shaped edges, and no need to seal the edges directly, which can achieve better shape effect. The structure is uniform and the inside and outside are the same, so it can be carved on the surface and processed into decorative lines of various sections. It is suitable for replacing natural wood as structural materials.

II. Use of High Density Fiberboard
High density fiberboard is widely used in interior and exterior decoration, office, furniture, audio, car interior decoration, as well as antistatic floor, guard wall board, anti-theft door, wall board, partition board, etc. because of its excellent physical properties and compatibility with all the advantages of medium density fiberboard. It is also a good material for packaging. In recent years, instead of hardwood, it has been directly processed into composite flooring and laminated flooring. It has been widely used in interior decoration. Its smooth surface, solid texture and long service life have been well received by users.
