Infrared in sauna industry

Infrared (electromagnetic wave with wavelength between microwave and visible light), this entry is reviewed by the compilation and application project of “popular science China” Science Encyclopedia.

Infrared is an electromagnetic wave whose wavelength is between microwave and visible light. The wavelength is between 1mm and 760 nm, which is longer than red light.

Substances above absolute zero (- 273.15 ℃) can produce infrared. Modern physics calls it thermal ray. Medical infrared can be divided into two categories: near infrared and far infrared. Containing heat, the heat of the sun is mainly transmitted to the earth through infrared.

We call the radiation beyond the red light infrared (ultraviolet beyond the purple light), invisible to the naked eye.
