List of Mills Producing CARB Compliant Composite Wood Products
This page last revised May 15, 2019
The ATCM to control formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products was approved on April 18, 2008 by the Office of Administrative Law.
Below is a link to a list of mills that have been identified by a CARB approved Third-Party Certifier (TPC) as producers of CARB compliant composite wood products. The list is provided for informational purposes only and does not represent any endorsement by CARB. It is important to note that just because a mill is listed on CARB’s list of certified mills does not mean that everything made by that mill complies with CARB’s emission standards. For many mills, most of their production is not intended for sale in California and is not CARB compliant. CARB staff plans to periodically update the list below (about every 2 to 3 weeks) as mills become certified producers of CARB compliant composite wood products. For additional information about certified mills, we suggest you verify compliance level and visit the webpage of CARB approved no added formaldehyde and ultra low emitting formaldehyde mills or contact the mill’s TPC at the webpage of CARB approved TPCs.
