Manufacturing Technology of Special-shaped Plywood

1. The hot pressing temperature has a significant effect on the bonding strength. The bonding strength of all specimens is not qualified when the hot pressing temperature is 120 C. When the temperature rises to 130 C, the bonding strength of the specimens coated with 200 GM2 reaches 0.82 MPa, the minimum is 0.6 MPa, and the average bonding strength of the specimens coated with 250 GM2 reaches 0.96 MPa. The bonding strength is the best when the temperature is 140 C.

2. The stacking aging time of glued veneer has a significant effect on the bonding strength. The bonding strength of glued veneer is not ideal when it is hot pressed immediately, and the bonding performance is improved remarkably after 30 minutes aging.

3. The effect of glue amount on bonding strength is greater, but the effect of increasing glue amount is not as good as that of increasing hot-pressing temperature and prolonging aging time of glue-coated veneer.

4. The amount of glue coating and the aging time of glue-coated veneer have great influence on the surface quality (permeability). When the amount of glue is 200 g/m2, there is no penetration on the surface. When the amount of glue is increased to 250 g/m2, the surface will not be penetrated after aging for 30-60 minutes.
