Ordinary plywood is divided into four grades according to the material defects and processing defects visible on the panel: first-class, first-class, second-class and third-class, among which the first, second and third-class are the main grades of ordinary plywood.
Each grade of ordinary plywood is mainly determined by the allowable defects on the panel, and the allowable defects on the backboard, inner veneer and the processing defects of plywood are limited.
The simple grade description and main uses of ordinary plywood of each grade are as follows:
Primary Class: Appearance is not allowed to have other defects except for a small number of minor material defects (such as needle joints).
Suitable for high-grade building decoration, high-grade furniture and other special needs of wood products;
First Class: Individual minor defects (such as knots, dead knots, wormholes, cracks, depressions, indentations, etc.) are allowed. Suitable for high-grade building decoration, high and middle furniture, all kinds of electrical appliances and other products.
Second class: In addition to allowing a small number of minor defects, there are individual slightly serious defects (such as patches, patches, edge defects).
It is suitable for decoration and decoration of furniture, ordinary buildings, vehicles, ships, etc.
Third Class: More and larger defects are allowed, but the number and severity of defects should be within the corresponding limits and their use should not be affected. Applicable to low-grade building decoration and packaging materials.
The above four levels of panels should be sanded (scraped) light, special needs can not be sanded (scraped) light or two sides of sand (scraped) light.
General plywood can be divided into four categories:
Class I plywood: weather resistant plywood, with durability, boiling resistance or steam treatment properties, can be used outdoors.
Class II plywood: water-resistant plywood, can be impregnated in cold water, or withstand a short time of hot water impregnation, but not boiling.
Class III plywood: moisture resistant plywood, can withstand short-term cold water impregnation, suitable for indoor use. Common plywood can be classified into special grade, first grade, second grade and third grade according to the material defects and processing defects that can be seen on the processed plywood, among which the first, second and third grade are the main grades of common plywood.
The main uses of ordinary plywood of various grades are as follows:
It is especially suitable for high-grade building decoration, high-grade furniture and other products with special needs.
First class is suitable for high-grade building decoration, high and middle-grade furniture, various electrical appliances and other products.
Second class is suitable for decoration of furniture, ordinary buildings, vehicles, ships, etc.
Third class is suitable for low-grade building decoration and packaging materials.
