Plywood QC Inspection Checklist : Part 6 sizes and tolerance requirements

When buying the plywood ,should have a general idea what sizes of plywood you want ,traditional world standard is 1220x2440mm ( 4’x8′) , but some countries such as European ,they also like 1250×2500 , australia they like 1200×2400 mm …..

The plywood should be square Rectangle ,each coner must be Four right angles ,The degree of each angle must be 90 degrees.

The sizes tolerance is also required ,to make sure the plywood can be used ,must have 4×8 plywood diagonal measurement ,Diagonal Tolerance +/-2.5mm  (also called Squareness tolerance ) .

Size tolerance (length/width) ±2mm per metre
Squareness tolerance ±2.5mm per metre length of diagonal
