Steps of soaking and cooking birch veneer
After cooking, the plasticity of birch veneer can generally be increased. The mastery of soaking and cooking steps must be clear, so as to make the performance of birch veneer better and get more favor and recognition from users.
In the soaking cooking of birch veneer, when the wood is put into the cooking pool, it should be carried out according to the tree species and the wood specifications. The water temperature should be kept at room temperature, and the temperature should be increased slowly, so as to avoid the cracking of the wood due to thermal stress. When the temperature rises above 40 degrees, the heating rate should be slowed down; excessive cooking will also reduce the quality of thin wood; cooking pools should often remove resin, bark, sediment, and often change water to reduce wood pollution; after cooking, the wood should be placed in the storage tank in time before the planer, and kept in the range of 40 to 50 degrees.
The most effective way to improve the plasticity of birch veneer products is to adjust the temperature and moisture content simultaneously, that is, to increase the temperature of the products and the moisture content of the wood at the same time, to ensure the quality of the veneer.
