Recently, the major scientific and technological demonstration project of “green and livable” in Shandong Province led by Linyi science and Technology Bureau has made a major breakthrough – Shandong Shengchang New Material Co., Ltd. has successfully overcome the key technical problems of “continuous production of veneerable plywood”, and the first trial production product of “automatic continuous production line of one-time forming veneerable plywood” has been successfully offline, and the technical level has reached the international leading level. It marks the success of the world’s first set of veneerable plywood automatic continuous production line jointly developed by local enterprises in Linyi City, which not only provides strong scientific and technological support for the transformation of the city’s wood industry, but also provides a new path and model for the high-quality development of wood industry in Shandong Province.

Enabling science and technology to solve the development problems of wood industry

As the largest artificial plywood production and export trading base in China, at present, Linyi has more than 3300 plywood production enterprises, with an annual production of more than 36 million cubic meters of plywood, accounting for 60% of the total output of the province, including about 1000 veneerable plywood production enterprises. But at the same time, it also faces major common problems, such as backward production technology, low value-added products, heavy environmental load, low energy efficiency, resource bottleneck constraints and so on.

In order to solve the above problems, under the guidance and support of the Provincial Department of science and technology and the correct leadership of Linyi Municipal Party committee and Linyi Municipal government, Linyi science and Technology Bureau has actively explored a new path of transformation and upgrading of science and technology enabled wood industry based on the construction of a strong industrial city. On the basis of in-depth investigation and extensive demonstration, after more than one year’s efforts, we have successfully organized Shengchang new materials, Lvsen plastic wood, Tyson Risheng and other key wood industry enterprises in the city to cooperate with famous universities and institutions such as Chinese Academy of forestry, Nanjing Forestry University, Beijing Forestry University and Shandong University, Led the implementation of the province’s first science and technology demonstration project – “Shandong carbon peak carbon neutralization special” green and livable “major science and technology demonstration project”. The project adopts the mode of “technical breakthrough + industrial application”, focusing on the five directions of wood reorganization new materials, plywood intelligent manufacturing, high-performance biomass adhesive, home intelligent manufacturing and bio based new composite materials, focusing on overcoming a number of key technologies, developing a number of new materials, developing and cultivating a number of traction and pillar major products and equipment, and carrying out demonstration and application, so as to promote Linyi City and even the whole province Provide strong scientific and technological support for the transformation and upgrading of the national wood processing industry.

It is understood that the total investment of the project is planned to be 610 million yuan, including 108.8 million yuan from the provincial financial support fund and 501.2 million yuan from the enterprises. It is planned to break through 18 green and livable cutting-edge technologies, develop 12 new products, formulate 12 standards, and build 11 demonstration production lines such as the “automatic continuous production line of one-time forming veneerable plywood with an annual output of 300000 cubic meters” in three years, boosting Linyi During the 14th Five Year Plan period, the output value of wood industry in Shandong Province exceeded 200 billion yuan and 500 billion yuan.

Breakthroughs in key technologies to boost the transformation and upgrading of the wood industry

The “continuous production of veneerable plywood” project led by Shandong Shengchang new materials Co., Ltd. is an important part of the “green livable” demonstration project. The project has a total investment of 398 million yuan. Its main task is to develop the key technologies of intelligent continuous slab assembly in the plywood manufacturing industry, which accounts for 60% of the province, form an intelligent continuous slab assembly process, realize the “vertical” upgrading of the existing plywood veneer technology, completely solve the problems that cannot be solved by the traditional production mode such as easy cracking and carbonization of traditional plywood, and provide high-end decorative plates for the customized home industry. After the implementation of the project, an automatic continuous flat pressing production line with an annual output of 300000 cubic meters of new wood reconstituted new materials can be formed, with a daily output of 20000 new environmental friendly veneers, and equipped with intelligent finished product detection system and automatic packaging system. After the completion of the project, the demonstration can drive the comprehensive benefits of upstream and downstream to more than 100 billion yuan, and promote the development and growth of customized high-end furniture industry.

At present, the “automatic continuous production line of one-time molding veneerable plywood” has successfully completed batch trial production and will be officially put into operation in May. It is estimated that compared with the traditional production mode, the production process integration reduces 18 production processes and the production cycle is reduced from 10 days to 1 day; A production line can produce 20000 standard boards per day (equivalent to the capacity of 20 traditional enterprises at present), the number of workers is reduced from 1500 to 70, and the floor area of the plant is reduced from more than 200 mu to 110 mu; It can produce 300000 cubic meters of veneerable plywood annually, realize sales revenue of 1 billion yuan, tax revenue of 50 million yuan and profit of 100 million yuan, and greatly increase the added value of products; At the same time, the annual emission of carbon dioxide is reduced by more than 6000 tons, the emission of dust is more than 54 tons, the emission of VOCs is more than 5 tons, the energy consumption is reduced by more than 10%, and the benefits of ecological environmental protection and green manufacturing are obvious.

In the traditional production mode, plywood manufacturing enterprises mainly adopt the periodic production process of multi-layer press. Each link of veneer production is dominated by single machine production, which has high energy consumption, high labor intensity, low production efficiency, high emission of organic volatiles, and it is difficult to guarantee the occupational health and safety management system; Cracks, surface carbonization, bottom defects and other problems are easy to appear in the production process, and the product quality is also difficult to guarantee. These problems have been restricting the high-quality development of wood industry in Linyi city. The successful research and development of “automatic continuous production line of one-time forming veneerable plywood” has effectively solved these problems in the traditional process. According to the introduction, if the “automatic continuous production line of one-time molding veneerable plywood” with an annual output of 300000 cubic meters can be fully popularized and applied, 120 new production lines can replace the existing production capacity of the city, which can not only continue to maintain the original market competitiveness and share, but also promote the integration and upgrading of relevant enterprises, force traditional enterprises to accelerate transformation and upgrading, vacate 10000 mu of land and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 600000 tons per year More than 5400 tons of dust and more than 500 tons of VOCs are emitted, realizing an output value of 100 billion yuan and a tax of 5 billion yuan, and truly promoting the transformation of the wood industry to intelligent, green and intensive production.
