Types and processing methods of wood door veneer

The solid wood composite door is made of the density board or decorative veneer with veneer as the surface material. Its surface has the natural texture of wood, and the style is novel and diverse. How many kinds and characteristics do you know of the wood veneer of the solid wood composite door?

I. natural wood skin

It uses natural wood to directly plane and cut the veneer with a thickness of about 0.2-0.5mm, without any artificial modification, and retains the natural texture and texture.

2. Dyed Veneer

Dyed veneer refers to a very beautiful and delicate wood board. It is a new decorative material made by using high-tech processing technology to color and defect natural wood. It is commonly known as dyed wood in China. The veneer made of dyed wood is called Dyed Veneer.

III. technological wood veneer

Technological veneer: it refers to a new type of wood material with superior performance, which is made by high-tech processing of ordinary wood and recombination and beautification treatment by using the principle of bionics. The veneer made of technology wood is called technology veneer.

IV. non woven wood skin

It is a kind of wood surface decoration material which is composed of thin wood skin and imported non-woven fabric. Compared with the conventional veneer, the strength and thickness of the veneer are enhanced. The veneer is not easy to burst, the construction is simple, and its performance is similar to that of the sticker veneer. It is the first choice for enterprises to reduce costs and improve competitiveness.

V. finger joint veneer

Refers to the small color difference, strong flexibility, not easy to deform, can take into account the advantages of all kinds of wood, the production of luxury appearance, precious natural, other materials such as paper and PVC materials can not express, refers to the wood veneer has become an enterprise to improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve competitiveness of the necessary materials.

Veneer technology is the key process of composite doors, which plays a decisive role in the final quality and effect of composite doors.

Key points of veneer Technology

1. There is no gap at the joint when gluing the veneer, there shall be no color difference between the two veneers spliced, and the direction of the wood grain shall be the same;

2. The specification of splicing veneer shall be greater than that of veneer (the length of veneer shall be greater than about 20 mm of the veneer length and the width shall be greater than about 3 mm of the veneer width);

3. The veneer sent into the hot press shall be free of deviation, folding and cracking, and the time interval between the upper and lower layers shall not exceed 2min;

4. After hot pressing and unloading, remove the redundant wood veneer at the edges and corners. For products with grooves or arcs, use a knife to smooth along the grooves or arcs.

At present, there are two kinds of veneer Technology: hot press veneer and manual veneer.

1. Machine hot press veneer

The hot press veneering machine can be used to press and glue furniture panels, wooden doors (i.e. gluing thin wood to inner frame) and various wood-based panels (such as plywood, joinery board, MDF, particleboard, etc.). It can also be used for drying and leveling of veneer, leveling and shaping of color decorative wood chips.

2. Manual veneering

It can be applied to complex furniture modeling that some machines can’t solve. Due to the uneven surface and different shapes of some furniture, the machine can not be operated, so it is replaced by manual veneering machine. Artificial veneer is easier to blister than machine hot pressing, so it is very important to standardize the operation of workers.

The above is about the wood veneer of the solid wood composite door. Please continue to pay attention to more highlights.
