Veneer quality control Part 13:Dyeing Technology Test of Fast-growing Poplar Wood

Poplar wood was dyed by vacuum heating method. Variance and color difference analysis were used to study the effects of dye concentration, dye temperature and dyeing time on the dyeing effect of poplar wood. The results showed that the concentration of dye solution was the first factor affecting the dyeing uniformity and dyeing uptake of poplar samples, followed by the dyeing temperature. After dyeing for 6 hours, the dyeing effect was not improved significantly by prolonging the dyeing time.
