Vietnam’s business inspection: from the transfer of plywood industry to see the great leap forward of Vietnam’s economy

In recent years, Vietnam’s business inspection began to form a general trend.

Vietnam borders on Guangxi and Yunnan of China, with a land area of about 330000 square kilometers and a population of about 100 million. It is a very small country. In recent years, Vietnam’s business inspection began to form a general trend.

When it comes to Vietnam’s business investigation, we have to mention the advantageous product of Vietnam now: plywood. The plywood industry, especially the low-end plywood, has been constantly shifting. At first, it was done in Europe. After a while, it was found that the plywood industry did not make money and was left to the United States. The United States did not make money for a while, but lost it to Japan. Japan began to pick it up and dry it up. It did not make money even though it did so, and then it threw it to China. After that, China can’t do it anymore. Now it’s Vietnam and Cambodia doing it.

In modern times, Vietnam was full of turmoil and wars, including the war against French colonial rule, the civil war between the north and the south, and the war with Japan and the United States. Strong and belligerent Vietnamese finally won these wars and founded the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1976. At this time, Vietnam began to be a little low-key. It invaded Laos and Cambodia, and in 1979, it had a Sino Vietnam war with China. The long-term border war had a great impact on Vietnam’s economy. The failed socialist policy and the opposition relationship with the western countries had a negative impact.

Vietnam withdrew its troops from Cambodia in 1989, Sino Vietnam relations improved in the 1990s, and the United States lifted part of its economic blockade of Vietnam. Vietnam has gradually opened economic and trade relations with European and American countries, followed by rapid economic development, becoming one of the emerging economies in Southeast Asia.

In 2015, Vietnam used a total of 14.45 million cubic meters of wood, 14.34 million cubic meters of wood were used domestically, with few exports. In 2018, Vietnam’s total wood use reached 38.4 million cubic meters, about 2.7 times that of 2015, with a very rapid growth. Vietnam’s domestic wood resources have been unable to meet such rapid growth, Vietnam’s wood production began to rely on imports.

At present, all China’s plywood factories exporting to the United States are in a state of suspension, and Linyi’s largest factory exporting to the United States has declared bankruptcy. At present, there is no plywood made in China that can be exported to the United States, even the entrepot trade is not feasible. In 2016, the total trade volume of plywood listed in the double anti list by the United States was US $1120268649.00.

On March 27, 2019, the United States launched a double anti investigation on Chinese cabinets. Probably all the cabinets made in China will not be exported to the United States. This time, the total trade volume of US $4403862791.00 will be affected, which is four times the market capacity of plywood.

From the huge growth of wood production in 2018, Vietnam should be the biggest beneficiary in the field of wood products.
