There are many kinds of natural wood veneer, and different kinds of wood veneer have different texture characteristics, which provides more choices for people to decorate modern home life with wood veneer. Fork pattern veneer – Common feather pattern, fish bone pattern, fountain pattern, such patterns can be used for high-level decoration such as black walnut tree buckling veneer, peach flower stamen wood buckling veneer and so on.

Conical pattern veneer – refers to the distinct growth of different, forming a beautiful “V” pattern such as grey walnut, red bean, iron knife veneer.

 

Band pattern veneer – refers to the straight grain wood such as Korean pine veneer, larch, sassafras and date, which does not systematically deviate from the direction of wood longitudinal axis and trunk main axis.

 

Interlaced pattern-texture direction shows periodic reversal, i.e. left-right deviation, such as camphor, Madong, Eucalyptus grandis, peach stamen, etc.

 

Wave pattern veneer – long cells of wood curl regularly to the left and right sides of the chord, but not to the junction, showing undulating waves such as cherry, maple, birch, Angolan rosewood, tomato, white wax.

 

Piano back pattern, also known as tiger skin pattern, refers to the concave and convex parts such as maple, birch and peach stamens on the surface of the wood when it is rotated into veneers or sawn into chord panels.

 

Flocculent pattern – the depression of interwoven fibers is surrounded by a series of irregularities, in which the dimension of the transverse direction is larger than that of the parallel direction, showing flocculent like maple and birch.

 

Black Eye Patterns – Because of the distortion of the back of the arrangement of wood fibers, the growth wheel is conical dents. When the veneer is rotated into veneers, there are many small distorted tissues on the surface of the veneer to form black eyes such as maple, birch and chicken.

 

Parabolic pattern – refers to the rapid transition of early and late wood, resulting from different growth densities. The tangential plane shows beautiful parabola, such as Manchurian ash veneer, elm, beech, etc.

Stripe pattern – refers to wood with uneven color distribution. Variable patterns formed by sawing logs. The color comes from the pigments and lignin in wood, such as walnut (dark brown with purple stripes in heartwood), camphor (purple stripes in heartwood), rosewood (black stripes in red heartwood).

 

Silver pattern — It has horizontal stripes, sheet, ribbon, block or irregular ray pattern on its diameter. It has the feeling of flash and reflection, such as oak, Qinggang, Longan, Shuiqinggang, Thoreau, Platanus, South China wood, silver birch, holly.
