14. SAMPLING PLAN & DEFECT CLASSIFICATION
Sampling plan
| Field | Record |
|---|---|
| Lot Definition | |
| Total Quantity | |
| Number of Bundles | |
| Sampling Standard / Plan | |
| Number of Bundles Sampled | |
| Number of Panels Sampled | |
| Destructive Samples Authorized | ☐ Yes ☐ No |
| Laboratory Samples Collected | ☐ Yes ☐ No |
| Buyer-Specific Sampling Requirements |
Defect classification
| Classification | Examples | Disposition |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | Misrepresented product identity; missing legally required compliance evidence for a regulated product; a critical defect explicitly defined by the buyer | Reject / Hold / Escalate according to the approved plan |
| Major | Out-of-tolerance dimensions; unacceptable delamination; excessive core voids; incorrect grade; significant face defects; failed required performance test | Reject or submit for buyer disposition |
| Minor | Small cosmetic defects that remain within the agreed grade and do not affect intended use | Accept only if within approved limits |
Note: This is a proposed QC classification, not a universal industry defect table. The buyer’s approved defect definitions and AQL sampling plan, if any, take precedence. AQL is a sampling-plan parameter, not permission to ship known defective panels.
