Grades & Properties of SLIP-RESISTANT FILM FACED PLYWOOD inspection,testing,sourcing

Description:

Birch plywood overlaid with a phenol (dark brown, black, green), amino (titanium grey) or an UV resistant (grey, blue) film on both faces. The wear face has a special surface pattern (WT). The reverse face usually is smooth (F).

Advantages:

Surface with high wear resistance, decorative appearance, weather- and water-proof, resists commonly used chemicals and easy-to-clean. In addition, the product is environmentally friendly and hygienic.

Applications:

Flooring, transport industry, pedestrian bridges, storage and factory floors, storage shelves, loading platforms, pier surfaces, scaffoldings, ship decks, shop fitting and flight cases. In general – surfaces where high wear resistance is required.

Surface pattern:

The panels are overlaid with a phenol or an UV resistant film and have a special pattern imprinted in a hot pressing process.
Anti-slip Class in accordance with DIN 51130 R 10. Taber test results 550-10 000 revolutions (depending on type of overlay).

Cut-to-size panels and machining available in accordance with customers’ requirements.

Thicknesses:

6.5, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 mm. 

Slip Resistance:

according to  AS 4586:2013 (App A) wet pendulum test method-P4, (App B) dry floor friction test – D1.
