1.0 Executive Summary
This report documents the quality inspection conducted on September 6, 2025, for the consignment of UV Prefinished Birch Plywood destined for our client in the United States. The inspection focused on both the birch plywood substrate and the applied UV-cured finishes.
The overall quality of the inspected panels is ACCEPTABLE and meets the agreed-upon specifications. The birch substrate for both 5.2mm and 18mm panels showed good construction, with minimal core gaps and a smooth, sanded surface suitable for UV coating. The UV finishes demonstrated consistent application, good hardness, and acceptable resistance to scratching and staining. All inspected parameters conform to the standard requirements.
2.0 Scope of Inspection

- Substrate Quality: Verification of birch plywood core construction, veneer quality, thickness tolerance, and surface flatness .
- UV Finish Application: Assessment of coating consistency, coverage, and finish type (UV 2 Sides, UV 1 Side).
- Finish Performance Testing: Evaluation of hardness, scratch resistance, adhesion, and resistance to chemical staining.
- Visual & Dimensional Checks: Color consistency, sheen uniformity (UV Sheen), and freedom from surface defects.

4.0 Non-Conformities / Observations
- Minor Observation: One panel from the 18mm batch had a slight surface mark, likely from handling. It was isolated and will not be shipped. This was an isolated case and does not reflect the overall batch quality.
- Note on UV 1 Side Panels: The uncoated reverse side of UV 1 Side panels is of good quality sanded birch, suitable for applications where the back will not be visible.
5.0 Conclusion
The inspected shipment of UV Prefinished Birch Plywood from WHITE BIRCH PLYWOOD factory demonstrates satisfactory quality control. The birch plywood substrate is well-manufactured, and the UV finishing process (including Base Coat and Top Coat) has been executed to a high standard, resulting in a durable and aesthetically consistent product.
The finish performance, particularly in hardness (2H) and scratch resistance, is suitable for demanding interior applications such as cabinetry, furniture, and store fixtures.
Recommendation: The shipment is APPROVED for release and shipment to the client.
