The performance requirements of base paper used in construction formworks were analyzed comprehensively and thoroughly first, and the main quality indicators of the base paper were given in this paper. And two kinds of typical manufacturing processing for this base paper were investigated, this may be some helpful in guiding some manufacturers which is producing the base paper or is willing to improve it or develop it.
