The trained neural network has good generalization ability and fault-tolerant ability, which can provide guidance for working hours of edge bonding.

3.5 Middle end of edge banding

(1) Real time transmission of management and production information, remote control

The intelligent production management line can automatically formulate the optimal production plan according to the edge bonding process, automatically adapt to the changes of workpiece types and production batches, so as to obtain the maximum utilization rate of the machine tool. It can also remotely control according to the plan, so that its operation data can be transferred to each edge bonding machine, realizing automatic detection of the workpiece and automatic tool compensation. The reasonable use of flexible manufacturing system can make it clear the handover process between the front end and rear end of the edge banding production line and the edge banding process as a whole, so as to achieve comprehensive and effective control. For material storage and transportation, tracking monitoring, machine tool processing, information communication and computer control, it can also realize automatic operation and real-time scheduling management.

(2) Optimize manual loading and unloading, and transport with intelligent manipulator

Manual loading and unloading of plates will cause manual operation fatigue. Changing bad habits can effectively reduce fatigue and shorten the time difference between loading and unloading. Take the operator of the single side linear edge banding machine as an example. Through the decomposition analysis of continuous actions, the simulation software 3DSPSS is used to build a virtual factory environment and output the relevant data of body fatigue in various parts of the human posture. The normal upright or bending leg forward bending posture can reduce the pressure on the lumbar intervertebral disc.

3.6 Back end of edge banding

(1) Machine self-cleaning

Impurities will affect the edge sealing quality. A large amount of chips will be produced during the cutting process. It is necessary to set up a synchronous dust suction device and a conical clamping sleeve type milling cutter. In combination with intelligent path tracking, the chip residues can be removed in time to enhance the tool durability. Self cleaning detection and treatment devices shall be added at the rubber box, rough/finish milling device of side belt, dust exhaust pipe of scraper device, polishing unit and conveying track to improve the operation accuracy of equipment.

(2) Machine vision quality inspection

At present, the quality inspection of the edge sealing products in most furniture factories in China is manual visual inspection, and the unqualified products will be reworked. However, it is still unable to stop the phenomenon of employees passing off inferior products as high-quality ones, which will affect the customer experience. The intelligent equipment can use image recognition technology to automatically inspect the edge sealing quality of finished products by using the automatic plate defect recognition system and the automatic loading and unloading and sorting system, so that the machine can replace manual verification, save manpower and reduce errors, and improve the processing process of the edge sealing production line.
