3. Key Product Attribute Inspection
This inspection covers a total of 103 interior solid core wood door products, with complete dimensional specifications, material types, structural configurations and functional parameters. All products have standardized and compliant attribute settings, covering single/double door configurations, multiple sizes, wood species, panel styles and functional designs. The detailed inspection of core attributes is as follows:
- Door Type & Configuration: All products belong to interior wood doors (total 103 models), including two mainstream configurations: Single Door (61 models) and Double Door (42 models). The product structure is complete and standardized, supporting personalized width and height customization to meet diverse interior decoration and installation scenarios.
- Door Size Specification (Width & Height): Covering full-size mainstream specifications. Door width ranges from 16 inches to 72 inches, including 16(5), 18(27), 24(38), 28(39), 30(44), 32(68), 36(88), 48(39), 56(39), 60(42), 64(42), 72(42); door height has two standard sizes: 80 inches (96 models) and 96 inches (69 models). All sizes comply with American standard interior door dimensional specifications.
- Door Material & Wood Species: The main door material is solid wood (103 models in total). Core wood species include Hemlock Fir (32 models), Knotty Alder (27 models) and White Oak (4 models). All wood materials are strictly selected, with stable texture, solid structure, no decay, wormholes, mildew or crack defects, meeting solid core door manufacturing quality standards.
- Glass Configuration & Style: Classified by glass assembly: No Glass (73 models) and With Glass (30 models). The only mainstream glass style is Full Lite. The reserved glass installation grooves are smooth, standard in size, with precise positioning, which supports stable and firm glass assembly.
- Door Style & Panel Style: Diversified standardized door styles, including Fire Rated, Flush, Hemlock, Knotty Alder, Primed White and classic Shaker Style (47 mainstream models). Panel styles cover four conventional types: 1 Panel (16 models), 2 Panel (29 models), 3 Panel (11 models), 5 Panel (16 models). All panel lines are neat, splicing gaps are tight, and the overall styling is unified and standardized.
- Process Performance: All 103 products support paintable finishing (100% pass rate). Most models adopt Redi-Prime and white primed pre-finish treatment, with smooth and uniform surface, excellent paint adhesion, which is convenient for customers’ secondary color finishing and surface renovation.
- Safety & Auxiliary Performance: Partial products support fire resistance function, with 20 Minute fire rating certification (19 models). All products have no optional sidelites available and are equipped with official brand formal warranty, with complete after-sales quality guarantee and reliable safety performance.
4. AQL Sampling Inspection Standard & On-Site Inspection Results
4.1 AQL Sampling Inspection Specification
This inspection strictly follows the international mainstream ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2013 single sampling normal inspection level II standard, applicable to the full batch of 103 interior wood doors. The AQL values are set in accordance with furniture and building materials foreign trade inspection norms, and defect grading & acceptance criteria are defined as below:
| Defect Level | Definition | AQL Standard | Acceptance Criteria |
| Critical Defect (CR) | Dangerous defects affecting safety, fire resistance and structural usability, causing potential safety hazards | AQL 0 | 0 defects allowed, full batch rejected if any exists |
| Major Defect (MA) | Affects product installation, structural stability, fire-proof performance and core use functions, leading to unqualified product use | AQL 2.5 | Allowable defect quantity complies with level-II sampling plan |
| Minor Defect (MI) | Slight appearance flaws that do not affect structural performance and normal use, only impact visual aesthetics | AQL 4.0 | Allowable defect quantity complies with level-II sampling plan |
Sampling Quantity Confirmation: Based on the total batch quantity of 103 products and Level II normal inspection standard, the required sampling quantity is 13 pcs, covering all series of products including different wood species, sizes, panel styles and fire-rated models to ensure sample representativeness.
4.2 On-Site Inspection Items & Results
This inspection focuses on product appearance, dimensional accuracy, structural performance, process quality and functional compatibility. All sampled products are inspected item by item in accordance with AQL defect grading standards, and the detailed results are recorded as follows:

5. Defect Summary & Analysis
In accordance with ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 AQL sampling standard (Level II), 13 representative samples were inspected from the total batch of 103 interior wood doors. 0 Critical Defects, 0 Major Defects and 0 Minor Defects were detected in the sampled products. All inspection items fully comply with design specifications and American interior wood door industry quality standards. The entire product batch adopts standardized production processes, with stable batch quality control, reliable raw material selection and consistent overall quality performance, meeting AQL acceptance requirements.
The product Samples differences and style differentiations are reasonably formed by multiple factors: wood species grade (ordinary primed wood / Hemlock Fir / Knotty Alder / White Oak), door configuration (single/double door), panel process complexity, fire-proof function and glass configuration. The product quality is completely matched with market positioning, without abnormal premium, quality mismatch or unqualified process problems. In addition, all products achieve full paintable performance, standardized size system and unified production process, with excellent overall batch consistency.
6. Inspection Conclusion & Recommendations
6.1 Inspection Conclusion
The full range of inspected and interior solid core wood doors (103 models in total) deliver qualified appearance quality, precise dimensional tolerance, stable solid core structural performance, standardized surface finishing and complete functional attributes. All products satisfy design requirements, national manufacturing specifications and commercial sales quality criteria, and are fully qualified for factory delivery, retail sales and interior installation projects.
6.2 Quality Recommendations
- Continue to maintain the standardized production process of solid core wood doors, strengthen the quality inspection of raw wood materials to ensure the stability of wood texture and structure.
- Stratified inspection according to product grades: increase sampling inspection frequency for high-grade wood models (Knotty Alder, Hemlock Fir, White Oak) and fire-rated models, strictly control natural wood texture defects and fire-proof process standards to ensure product differentiation quality compliance.
- Strengthen the detection of pre-primed layer uniformity to ensure the secondary painting effect of subsequent customer finishing.
- Improve the inspection of functional reserved structures such as glass grooves and sidelites interfaces to ensure the smooth assembly of subsequent customized parts.
