Suqian Shuyang: 1 batch of medium density fiberboard products with unqualified static bending strength

Entrusted by a Saudi customer, we organized and conducted a quality supervision and random inspection of the medium density fiberboard products at the * * * medium density board factory in Shuyang, Suqian City. A total of 15 batches of products produced by them were randomly inspected, and 2 batches of products did not meet the requirements of relevant standards.
According to the requirements of standards such as GB/T 11718-2009 “Medium Density Fiberboard” and GB 18580-2001 “Indoor Decorative and Decorative Materials – Limit of Formaldehyde Release from Wood-based Panels and Products”, this random inspection conducted tests on five items of medium density fiberboard products, including surface bonding strength, water absorption thickness expansion rate, formaldehyde release amount, internal bonding strength, and static bending strength. A random inspection found that the first batch of products from the MDF Co., Ltd. did not meet the requirements of relevant standards, and the unqualified item was static bending strength.
