From January 1 to 10, 2023, the Linyi quality supervision team randomly inspected 15 batches of wood-based plywood and MDF products, and 3 batches were unqualified

This time, 15 batches of wood-based plywood and MDF products produced by 5 enterprises were inspected. After inspection, three batches of products produced by two enterprises were found to be unqualified, and the detection rate of unqualified products was 42.0%.

This spot check is based on GB 18580-2001 Limit of Formaldehyde Emission from Indoor Decorative and Decorative Materials, Wood-based Panels and Their Products, GB/T 11718-2009 Medium Density Fiberboard, GB/T 4897-2015 Particleboard, GB/T 9846-2015 Ordinary Plywood, GB/T 5849-2006 Blockboard and its Amendment, GB/T 17656-2008 Plywood for Concrete Formwork, and GB/T 18103-2013 Solid Wood Composite Floor 13 items of wood-based panel products, such as moisture content, density, density deviation in the board, water absorption thickness expansion rate, internal bonding strength, (parallel/transverse) static bending strength, (parallel/transverse) elastic modulus, surface bonding strength, formaldehyde release, bonding strength, surface bonding strength, immersion stripping performance, and transverse static bending strength, were tested.

Unqualified items include water content, water absorption thickness expansion rate, (parallel/transverse) static bending strength, (parallel/transverse) elastic modulus, dip stripping, bonding strength, etc.
